The National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro bade farewell to its most beloved Director Prof. Dr. Syed Tufail Hussain Shah on 7^th January 2025. The faculty, staff and scholars of Centre celebrated the 60^th Birthday of Prof. Dr. Syed Tufail Hussain Shah with great fanaticism. The worthy Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh; Prof. (Emeritus) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro also graced the occasion with his presence and attended the Cake cutting Ceremony. Dean faculty of Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Nek Muhammad Shaikh, Director Dr. M. A. Kazi Institute of Chemistry Prof. Dr. Arfana Mallah, Director Research and Graduate Studies Prof. Dr. Saima Qayoom Memon, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Bhanger, Prof. Dr. Sirajuddin, Prof. (Emeritus) Dr. Muhammad Yar Khuhawar, Director, Pakistan Study Centre Professor Dr Shuja Ahmed Mahesar and Area Study Centre, Far East and Southeast Asia Dr. Mukesh Kumar Khatwani also attended the Event. It was so difficult to let go of a person who has done so much for the Centre and Prof. Dr. Syed Tufail Hussain Shah is that person. He served this Centre for more than 20 years and throughout all those years he has never let this Centre down. He was an exemplary Director who experienced and dealt extremely critical situations with his extraordinary professional behavior and hard work. All the dignitaries including worthy vice chancellor, Prof. (Emeritus) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Bhanger, Prof. (Emeritus) Dr. Muhammad Yar Khuhawar spoke very high about Prof. Shah. He has set a benchmark for all others.
