ADMISSION IN M. PHIL.

Applications are invited for admission in M. Phil. & Ph.D. alytical Chemistry for the Session 2025 – 2026 at the National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Last date for submission of the form is 05th May, 2025.

REQUIREMENTS FOR M.PHIL. PROGRAM

  • Master’s/ 04 Years BS degree in the relevant discipline with minimum CGPA of 2.40 on scale of 4.0 OR 50% marks in Annual System or equivalent (16 years) qualification from any HEC recognized University.
  • Admission test score 50% OR GRE/ HAT General test score of 50%.

REQUIREMENTS FOR Ph.D. PROGRAM

  • M.S/ M.Phil degree equvalent (18 years) education in relevant discipline with CGPS 3.00 on scale of 4.00.
  • Admission test score 60% OR GRE/ HAT General test score of 60%.

NOTE

    All the Applicants have to qualify admission test and interview for the admission in M.Phil. & PH.D. Programs.

Test Pattern

M.Phil.Test will be subjective and completely comprised of “Chemistry Questions”.

Ph.D.The students who have passed GRE and have valid GRE test may submit the GRE card along with documents and may appear in interview directly.Test pattern of the Pre-Entry Test for PhD is given below;
The test will consist of the following five sections:
  1. English (20%)
    • Vocabulary
    • Grammar
    • Reading Comprehension
  2. Analytical Reasoning (10%)
  3. Quantitative Reasoning (10%)
  4. Psychological Assessment (10%)
  5. Subject Knowledge (50%)
